Nose
soft brown sugar, well worn brown leather brogues, hazelnut, buttered toast, pumpkin seeds, pan au raisin, tea leaves, sea spray, beach in the rain, toffee butterkist popcorn, raw honey and ginger.
Palate
werthers originals, creme brûlée, candied orange peel, salted butter, galaxy caramel, cadburys eclairs, beeswax, a little hessian and dunnage, bit of time brings forward a bit more fruitiness with some fermenting mango, apricots and peach stones.
Finish
Lovely lovely whisky, complex, aged, characterful.
