Description

A bottle of Tobermory 27 Year Old Single malt Scotch whisky. This is expression 5, finished in an Oloroso cask and bottled at 53.1% ABV. It is the fifth and final release in Tobermory's acclaimed Hebridean Series, also known as 'The Waymarker'. The whisky was initially aged for 15 years in first-fill ex-Bourbon casks before undergoing an additional 12-year maturation in González Byass Oloroso Sherry casks. This limited-edition release has only 2,857 bottles available worldwide and is non-chill filtered with no added color. [1, 3, 5, 8, 9, 11, 14]

Nose
An aroma rich with the scent of cinnamon pastries and dark black fruits. Sweet apricot and dried figs are joined by the earthy notes of toasted oak, all rounded off with a bright twist of orange zest. Palate
