Description

Togouchi Beer Cask Finish is a Japanese Blended Whisky produced by Chugoku-Jozo Distillery Co. (Sakurao Brewery & Distillery). It undergoes initial maturation in bourbon barrels, followed by a finishing period in IPA beer casks that were previously used for Martinique rum. This unique maturation process, conducted in a 361-meter-long underground tunnel in Hiroshima, imparts notes of malt, light citrus fruits, gentle hops, and a discreet peatiness to the whisky.
