Description

The Tomatin 30 Year Old Batch #1 is a Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky, matured for three decades in a combination of ex-Bourbon and traditional oak casks. This small batch release, bottled in 2018, consists of 3000 individually numbered bottles. It is presented in a premium oak box and is non-chill filtered. The whisky has received accolades such as World's Best Presentation Design at the World Whiskies Awards 2019 and Gold Medals at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Fresh aromas of soft fruits, golden honey, and smooth white chocolate, with notes of vanilla fudge, fairground toffee apples, orange marmalade, dried pineapple, guava, white peach, white pepper, hibiscus, and dusty dried rose petals.
Palate
A fusion of tropical fruits and creamy buttered vanilla mingle with sensational mixed spices. Velvety and silky, with prominent ripe and juicy tropical fruit, especially white peach, dusty spices, dried rose petal notes, fresh vanilla pod, cinnamon sugar, crumbly sugary fudge, dried red apple, and bitter orange.
Finish
Long and rich with malted barley extract and oak tannins. Sweetness and fruitiness continue, fading to drying oak, old cigar box with faded hints of tobacco, dried orange zest, and cocoa powder.
