Description

A Highland malt distillery that for a time during the 1970s was the largest in Scotland. In 1986 it became the first Japanese-owned Scotch distillery when it was acquired by Takara Shuzo Co and under its ownership today it provides fillings for the Antiquary blend as well as its single malt brands. *

Nose
Fruity, also slightly sour, wine-like. Then the scent becomes a bit fresher, flowery, slightly washing powder.
Palate
Fruity, also a hint of smoke now, some chocolate and caramel, honey.
Finish
Very light tingling, slightly sweet, very light hint still smelled.
