Description

A Highland malt distillery that for a time during the 1970s was the largest in Scotland. In 1986 it became the first Japanese-owned Scotch distillery when it was acquired by Takara Shuzo Co and under its ownership today it provides fillings for the Antiquary blend as well as its single malt brands. One of Scotland's most iconic and long-running independent bottling brands. Introduced by Gordon & MacPhail. This 16-year-old Tomatin was distilled in 2002 and bottled in 2019 from a single first-fill Bourbon barrel as part of the Connoisseurs Choice range.
