Description

This Tomatin 2011 vintage single malt Scotch whisky is a limited-edition single cask release, matured in a first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry butt (Cask #37607). It was bottled in 2024 to celebrate the 2026 Lunar New Year, the Year of the Horse. The cask, known as a 'bota gorda', was sourced from a bodega in Jerez, southern Spain, and its previous use in a sherry solera system has imparted rich depth and intense PX characteristics. The release comprises 817 individually numbered bottles, presented in an original box, and is non-chill filtered with natural color.
