Description

Tomintoul Peaty Tang is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Speyside region, known for its 'gentle dram' character. This expression, however, departs from the traditional unpeated style by using peated malted barley, distilled only twice a year during dedicated two-week production windows. It is a vatting of younger peated malt (around 4-5 years old) and older unpeated whisky (around 8 years old), matured in ex-Bourbon casks. This combination creates a layered interplay between smoke and classic Speyside sweetness. The pure ingredients along with the natural environment contribute to its smooth and mellow character.
