Description

A Speyside malt whisky distillery located in Ballindalloch. It was established in 1965 and quickly acquired by Whyte & Mackay who eventually passed it to Angus Dundee Distillers in 2000. Under its ownership its provides bulk supply for blending as well as its own single malt label. This Tomintoul 1981 Vintage Single Cask is the distillery's first Vintage Single Cask release under current owners Angus Dundee, distilled on 30th October 1981 and bottled on 20th February 2013 after maturing for over 31 years in a bourbon cask. It is a cask strength release with no artificial colouring or chill filtration.
