Description

A collectible series of premium single casks from The First Editions brand. Released between 2014 and 2024, each label in the collection celebrates a different writer from literary history. This 14th release in the series is inspired by the life and works of Frederick Douglass, an African-American former slave who rose to prominence as a highly-regarded writer, orator and statesman in the abolitionist movement. Distilled in November 1988 at Speyside's Tormore distillery, this single malt was matured in a sherry butt for 28 years before bottling in October 2017.
