Description

This is a 40-year-old single malt whisky from Tormore distillery, distilled on March 3, 1980, and bottled on October 5, 2020, by independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail as part of their Private Collection series. It was matured in a refill bourbon barrel, cask number 4467, yielding only 96 bottles. Tormore distillery, located in Speyside, was built in 1958 and completed in 1960, making it the first new distillery in Scotland in the 20th century. Gordon & MacPhail is a historic blender and independent bottler known for its extensive collection of aged whiskies.
