Town Branch Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey is distilled by Lexington Brewing & Distilling Co. in Lexington, Kentucky. This small-batch rye whiskey is bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV) and is non-chill filtered. It is crafted from a mash bill that has varied, with a newer blend composed of 90% rye, 5% corn, and 5% malted barley, and an older one with 55% rye, 30% corn, and 15% malted barley. Aged in new American white oak barrels with a #4 char level, it is an allocated annual release, often celebrated during National Rye Month in August. It has received multiple awards, including a 96-point rating from the Beverage Testing Institute in 2021 and recognition as 'Best Rye Whiskey' by Forbes in the same year.
