Description

This is a very limited edition of Tullamore Dew. Bottled at 18 years old, this triple distilled single malt was matured in a complex mix of ex-bourbon, sherry, madeira and port barrels. Nose
Elegant and inviting with aromas of baked apple, pear, and orange blossom, intertwined with toasted oak, vanilla bean, and gentle spice. Hints of sherry-soaked raisin, cinnamon, honeyed sweetness, nutmeg, and caramel.
Palate
Silky and medium-full, unfolding ripe orchard fruit, dried apricot and fig, rich caramel, supported by oak spice, baking cinnamon, and citrus peel. Soft fruit, bourbon-cask vanilla, toasted bread, and a kick of allspice.
Finish
Long and warm with lingering oak, honeyed fruit, and gentle spice, tapering to a refined and satisfying close. Caramel, chocolate, zesty orange, fruitcake, and a bit peppery but mellow.
