Description

An independent bottling brand founded in 2021 by a trio of retailers: Kyoto Fine Wine & Spirits in Japan, and Duckhammer's and The Whisky Kingdom from Germany. The group also markets cognac selections under the GrapeDiggaz name in collaboration with Kirsch Import. This Unnamed Islay 30 Year Old was distilled in 1991 and bottled in 2022, selected by Wu DRAM Clan together with Kirsch Import from Signatory Vintage warehouses.

Refined with hints of nail polish, smoked eel, sunflower oil, oily and briny touches, fresh mint, zesty lemons, green olives, golden syrup, plaster, papaya, smoke, leather, band-aids, dehydrated lemon slices, old yellow fruits, tar, baked apples, chocolate lime and pink shrimp sweets, mulchy leaves, beach bonfires, and singed lime peel.
Palate
Oily mouthfeel with ashy smoke, salinity, medicinal touches, dried seaweed, briny, mildly spiced, gentle fruits like nectarines and lemons, soft vegetal and grassy notes, white pepper, Napoleon candies powder, cracked leather, sawdust, coastal notes, sand, sweet smoke, mint fondant, sweet apples, damp oak, menthol, and fruity dark chocolate.
Finish
Long, salty, fruity peat, slightly drying, lemony acidity, leather, coastal salinity, brine, comforting, mint choc chips, mulchy leaves, and lingering, minerally peat smoke.
