Description

Inaugural Van Winkle Family Reserve bourbon, distilled at Stitzel-Weller on February 23, 1970 and bottled in December 1984 by Old Rip Van Winkle Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. The release was a joint offering by Julian Van Winkle III and Gordon Hue of Cork ’n Bottle, reportedly comprising fewer than 20 barrels and slightly over 2,000 bottles.
