Description
This W.L. Weller 12 Year Old is a distinguished Kentucky Straight Wheated Bourbon Whiskey, produced at Buffalo Trace Distillery. It is aged for 12 years, significantly longer than most wheated bourbons, resulting in a smooth, easy-going, and balanced profile with a beautiful deep bronze color. It uses a wheated mash bill, replacing rye with wheat as the secondary grain, which contributes to its softer, sweeter character. This expression is often considered a more accessible alternative to the highly sought-after Pappy Van Winkle, sharing the same wheated mash bill. The bottle is typically sold without a box.
