Description
Waterford Distillery is a major new whisky project by the man behind the renaissance of Islay's Bruichladdich. Situated on the banks of the river Suir, on Ireland's sunny south-eastern coast, they have an exceptional state-of-the-art facility originally built by Diageo in 2004 and converted to distilling in 2015. This second edition of Ballykilcavan from Waterford is a product of the Ballykilcavan farm in County Laois. It's been matured in a combination of American oak, French oak, and ex-fortified-wine casks. Bottled in July 2020, this release is one of only 9000 bottles.
