Description

Waterford Sheestown Edition 1.2 is a single malt Irish whiskey, part of Waterford's Single Farm Origin series, crafted exclusively with Irina barley grown on Phillip O'Brien's Sheestown farm in Kilkenny. Distilled in 2016 and bottled in 2020, this 4-year-old whisky is non-chill filtered and free of coloring or additives. It showcases the unique terroir of the Sheestown region, with its lowland, limestone and sandstone soils. Matured in a combination of first-fill and virgin American oak, French oak, and Vin Doux Naturel casks, it offers a malty character with notes of fruit and spice.
