Nose
Vanilla, apple pie, glimpses of wood, light, fruity, with a hint of fresh muffins. Also cream, toffee, honey, nutty, dusty, warm runny caramel, spicy wood, sappy charred oak, sawdust, perfumed caramel and chocolate bonbons, and a hint of sweet corn and charred cask.
Palate
Sweet sugars, honey, and vanilla bean. Alcohol zing comes mid-sip but never overpowers. Sweetish, nutty, fresh and well-balanced, with wood influence, paper, sawdust, Bassetts Liquorice Allsorts, vanilla ice-cream with caramel sauce, and a hint of dry bitter wood.
Finish
Very light, alcohol comes and goes quickly. Cinnamon and yeast. Works well, gives backbone, appetizing, with aromas coming together nicely.
