The West Cork Maritime Release - Virgin Oak Cask is a Single Malt Irish Whiskey from West Cork Distillers. It is part of the Maritime Release series, a special edition inspired by the distillery's founders who were formerly trawlermen. This whiskey is initially matured in first-fill Bourbon casks and then finished in Kelvin Cooperage Virgin Oak Casks. It is triple distilled, non-chill filtered, and bottled at 46% ABV. The unique bottle design is reminiscent of floating balls used for fishing nets, featuring an off-centre spout for a smoother pour.
