Westland Garryana Edition 5 is part of Westland's Outpost Range, a series dedicated to exploring the use of native Garry oak (Qu ercus garryana) for whisky maturation. This particular edition, released in 2020, features a higher percentage of Garry Oak casks in its blend and combines pale malt spirit with peated spirit, resulting in a complex American Single Malt Whiskey.

Signature barbecue notes, spicy, savory, reminiscent of burnt ends, cacao butter, charred maple wood, clove, vanilla, almond butter, peach-flavoured boiled sweets, granola, dried fruits, nuts, meaty smoke, stone fruit, and baking spice.
Finish
Medium length with sweetness and orchard fruits, lasting clove, caraway, toffee, a touch of medicinal bitterness, dark chocolate, honeycomb, vanilla cream, and cooked red fruits.
