- Full and mature, with Glenmorangie oranges, sweet barley, buttered toast, butterscotch, sherry, dried apricots, almond, mandarin, heather-honey, peach jam, light vanilla, espresso, light pepper, light mint, cinnamon, hints of tobacco and leather, and plums.
- Palate
- Pleasantly sweet with spices, toasted barley, butterscotch, orange, mandarin, sherry, dried apricot, walnuts, floral tea, cherries, vanilla, heather-honey, pepper, nutmeg, ginger, cardamom, hints of leather and wet stones. Candied oranges, plumcake and nuts, creamy and biscuit-like character, with waxy notes.
- Finish
- Quite long, a combination of bitter-sweet, spicy and sour notes. Toasted barley, oak, orange, mandarin, lemon zest, sherry, walnuts, nutmeg, ginger, cinnamon, and a distant hint of leather. Smoky and slightly peated notes.
