Description

You have discovered a rare, single barrel bottling of WhistlePig Estate Oak Rye - one of the oldest and finest rye whiskies. Finished in new American Oak, this rare whiskey is finished in Vermont Estate Oak, harvested from the oak forests surrounding our Farm in Shoreham, Vermont. Within these barrels, a tight-grained grain common to the cold climate of Vermont, which slows the oak's interaction with the whiskey, allowing for a more gradual and gentle maturation. At long last, a single barrel was selected for its exceptional character and depth. The result is a pure expression of Vermont's best - bold and powerful, yet smooth, with a long, crisp finish.
