Description

A historic blended Scotch brand that is currently part of the Diageo portfolio and predominantly marketed in South America and Japan. The brand traces its origins back to 1861 when it was first produced by James Logan Mackie and is noted for its use of Lagavulin malt in its recipe. White Horse Distillers is a former subsidiary of drinks giant, Diageo. The company was established in 1924.

Smooth, viscous, and creamy. Spices, malt, and pepper mix with soft peat, smoke, and faint oak. Caramel, toasted oak, and dried fruit intermingle. Blood oranges, buttery shortbread, slight sherry, wild honey, and lemon zest are also present.
Finish
Medium length, smoky-sweet, with hints of oak and spice. Notes of toffee pepper and faint peat. Clean and short, with vanilla and citrus sweetness lingering.
