- Malty cereal grain, straw, toasted almond, dried fruit, light pastry sweetness, with a thread of seaweed and peppery smoke. Strong peat, light bbq briquette smoke, light red and green grapes, candlewax, hints of a variety of fruits.
- Palate
- Soft with light toffee, brown butter, almond, pine, subtle peatiness, butter cream, cooking oil, bacon fat, malt, pepper, faint oak, cardamom. Amazingly smooth, delicious wood.
- Finish
- Oily, concentrated, lingering peat smoke, dried spice, dried fig, sherry-soaked fruit, cocoa, vanilla, polished oak, baking-spice warmth, and a final whisper of barley. Short, clean.
