Nose
Strong peat, light BBQ briquette smoke, light red and green grapes, candlewax, hints of various fruits, mineral peat, copper coins, paper, a touch of brine, elements of younger Lagavulin.
Palate
Amazingly smooth, delicious wood (not too oaky), not too strong, very nice texture, char expands with every sip, very soft, light taste, slightly salty.
Finish
Short, clean, medium, quite a bit of char.
