Description

A bottle of Willsher's Black Bull Scotch Whisky, estimated to be bottled in the 1970s. George Willsher & Co. was a whisky merchant founded in Dundee in 1864, and the Black Bull on the label is said to be a portrait of one of Willsher's prize Aberdeen Angus bulls. The company owned Glencoull Highland Malt Distillery which closed in 1929. The Black Bull brand was later acquired by Duncan Taylor in the 1990s/2000s.
