Nose
Dry apricot, dark chocolate, a balance of blackberry and ripe lemon acidity. A faint maltiness like malted barley or cereal. From deeper within, spicy notes of dry ginger and turmeric, and a fresh aroma of spearmint.
Palate
Malt chocolate, cocoa powder, oak, and a flavor reminiscent of persimmon astringency.
Finish
Towards the finish, tea tannins and a subtle vanilla cream, with a hint of black pepper and nutmeg-like spiciness spreading in the mouth.
