Heather blossom mingles with fresh sea air, augmented by a hint of peat smoke. There's a gentle nuttiness too, mingled with sweet tones redolent of autumn fruits and demerara sugar.
Palate
Give it time to unfold and this dram has huge body. Dried fruit notes lead the way, and the palate is treated to creamy layers of unfolding spices, overlaid with hints of caramel and butterscotch.
Finish
Tangy spiciness is accompanied by traces of peat smoke to provide a spectacularly long, lingering finish.
