Description
This Wolfcraig 14 Year Old is a premium blended Scotch whisky, expertly crafted by Master Blenders Richard Paterson OBE and Ian Macmillan. It is matured for a minimum of 14 years, initially in freshly emptied bourbon barrels, and then finished for an additional three years in a trio of sherry casks: Amontillado, Pedro Ximénez, and Moscatel, sourced from Bodega San Andrés in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. This release features a notably high malt content, often a 50/50 malt to grain ratio, contributing to its depth and complexity. It is bottled at 46.1% ABV, is non-chill filtered, and presented in its natural color. This particular release is the First Edition of the Triple Sherry Cask Finish Series, limited to 4401 bottles. The brand's story is inspired by Scottish folklore, telling of a wolf pack and a battle, with the spirit of the wolf living on in Wolfcraig Distillery.
