Description

A rare limited edition of just 1,472 bottles, this Wolfcraig 30 Years Old Premium Blended Whisky features whiskies matured for at least 30 years, with some reaching 35 years of age. This exceptional blend represents an unprecedented collaboration between two Master Blenders, Richard Paterson OBE and Ian Macmillan, who have utilized their long friendship and peerless knowledge to craft this luxurious Scotch Whisky. The whisky was initially matured in first-fill American white oak ex-bourbon barrels and then married in specially selected Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry butts from Bodega San Andres in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. It was awarded a Gold Medal in the Spirits Business Global Scotch Whisky Masters Awards 2023 in the 19-30 Year Old Blended Category.

Palate
Full-bodied and refined with maple syrup, bitter chocolate, Pontefract cake, sweet sultanas, Cara Cara orange, crushed almonds, Napoleon cake drenched in Madagascan vanilla custard, caramel, rich toffee, soft spice, dark chocolate, roasted nuts, and a soft hint of smoke.

Exceptionally long and warming, with creme brûlée, cape gooseberries, toffee apple, aged balsamic, espresso coffee, ginger, lingering sweetness, gentle oak, and a whisper of spice.
