Description

A 10-year-old Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, Wormtub Batch #5 is finished in first-fill sherry casks and bottled at natural cask strength of 56.1% ABV. It is non-chill filtered and has no added coloring, with its rich hue coming entirely from the cask. This release celebrates the traditional worm tub condensers, which impart a distinctive, heavier, and more robust flavor profile to the spirit. Wormtub is part of the Atom Labs family of brands, sourced from an undisclosed Speyside distillery.

Nose
Well-aged, well-sherried fruit cake with plenty of sweet spice, zesty flamed orange peel, and earthy, herbaceous black tea.
Palate
Waves of red berries, oily walnuts, and marmalade support glorious robust, meaty malt, with hints of sweetly cured biltong and tangy dried cranberries.
Finish
Salted caramel lingers alongside candied fruit and dense, oily malt for a rich, long-lasting finish.
