Description

Founded in 1923 by Shinjiro Torii, Yamazaki is Japan's first bona fide whisky distillery, located between Osaka and Kyoto. This 12-year-old single malt is crafted from 100% malted barley and matured in a combination of American oak, Spanish sherry, and Japanese Mizunara oak casks, contributing to its complex and multi-layered profile. It is celebrated for its refined balance, delicate fruit character, and signature Mizunara oak influence. Yamazaki 12 Year Old was first released in 1984 and has since gained international acclaim, winning numerous awards.
