Yamazaki Distiller's Reserve is a no-age-statement single malt whisky from Suntory's Yamazaki Distillery, Japan's oldest malt distillery, founded in 1923. Released in Spring 2014, it is crafted from a blend of various single malts matured in ex-Bordeaux wine casks, ex-sherry casks, Mizunara (Japanese oak) casks, and American oak casks, with a touch of peated malt. This diverse cask selection results in a refined, well-balanced, and multi-layered spirit, showcasing Yamazaki's signature style of elegance, delicacy, and fragrance.
