The Yamazaki Peated Malt Spanish Oak is a distinguished single malt whisky from Japan's oldest distillery, Yamazaki, part of the exclusive Kogei Collection. This expression honors traditional Japanese craftsmanship, known as 'kogei,' and is presented as the Japanese Kimono Edition, created in collaboration with Chiso Kimono House. The whisky is crafted using peated malt, imparting a deep, smooth smokiness, and is matured in Spanish oak casks, which contribute rich flavors. The packaging features intricate prints inspired by Chiso kimonos, depicting three merging rivers, symbolizing the serene environment of the Yamazaki distillery.
