Description

The Yamazaki Suntory Special Reserve - 70th Anniversary Edition is a blended Japanese whisky launched in 1969 to commemorate Suntory's 70th anniversary. Suntory, originally Torii Shoten, was founded in 1899 by Shinjirō Torii. This blend consists of specially reserved malt whiskies, pot-distilled and aged at the Yamazaki Distillery, with some sources also mentioning Hakushu malt and Chita grain as components. The bottle features an embossed '70' on the back, signifying the anniversary.
