Description

The flagship malt whisky distilling of the Nikka Distilling Co, established in 1934 by Masataka Taketsuru. This special edition, released in 2015, is characterized by the captivating aroma of aged casks, a smooth and harmonious palate, and a robust and commanding flavor profile with a prominence of peat, smoke, and earth. Despite limited availability due to stock shortages in the 21st century, its single malt is highly regarded and provides important fillings for Nikka blends.
