Armorik Version Française 7 Year Old, Sherry Cask, Cask #3809, Batch No. VF010, 2021, 50%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

86 / 100

The Sherry Cask detail is useful, and the nose’s oaky vanilla gives me a point of connection. The palate and finish lean strongly into peat, brine, earth, and smoke, so this looks best suited to someone who enjoys a bold, smoky character.
