Balblair 100° Proof 10 Year Old, 1965, Gordon & MacPhail, 57.1%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

82 / 100

Fruit and vanilla bring some warmth, while bitter chocolate, spice and drying licorice make this feel more firm than easygoing. There’s plenty of character, though it sounds less gentle than the styles I tend to favour.
