Benromach Peat Smoke 2012 9 Year Old, 2021, 46%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

88 / 100

The fragrant peat smoke has plenty of sweet company, particularly vanilla and apricot on the nose. Earthy smoke runs through the palate, then persistent peat and ash carry into the finish. That balance of smoke and sweetness suits my taste.
