Bimber Single Malt 3 Year Old, Bourbon Cask, 2017, Thompson Bros, 57.9%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

87 / 100

The fruit and citrus seem to lead, with pepper and cinnamon adding some edge. That sounds appealing, though the range of flavours makes this seem fairly busy rather than restrained. With water, the notes shift toward mustier tones and melon.
