Brugse Whisky Company Lanchals 4 Year Old, Bourbon & Oloroso & Pinot Noir Cask, Batch No. 1, 2024, 43%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

84 / 100

Ripe fruit and vanilla set up a gentle sweetness, then caramel and dried fruit bring the palate into focus with just a touch of oak. The spice notes carry through to a finish described as long and soft, with sweetness still present. That balance sounds approachable rather than forceful; the combination of fruit, oak and subtle spice is the part that holds my interest.
