Thirty years in a refill butt and it still carries a punchy 54% ABV. Most grains this age are tired or over-oaked, but this has a decent oak grip and warm spice that keeps it from being just another sweet syrup bomb. It is solid, cask strength scotch that avoids the usual grain cliches.
