Asyla’s appeal is in the way bright orange and lemon meet softer vanilla cream, honey and toffee. The ripe green apple and light grassiness add a little contrast, so the sweetness does not feel like the whole story. Its medium finish carries malt and dried fruit, with just a slight hint of oak spiciness. A gently balanced blended whisky, with enough detail to hold my interest without leaning on weight or intensity.
