Dark marmalade and sour cherries give the richer chocolate-and-vanilla notes a welcome point of lift; that contrast is the part that catches my interest. Toasted granary bread and woody spices add a grounded edge, while the long, smooth oak-and-spice finish sounds measured. It leans toward deep, sweet fruit rather than a crisp, fresh style, but the notes are specific enough to make that character easy to picture.
