Dewar's White Label Blended Scotch Whisky, 1960, 43%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

84 / 100

The smoke stays in the background here: a hint on the nose, then a subtle smoky texture and faint wisp on the finish. That gives it some smoky character without making smoke the main event. Honey, vanilla and toffee lead the sweeter side, with citrus and pear bringing a lighter edge. A balanced direction, though anyone looking for a stronger smoky presence may find it restrained.
