Elijah Craig Small Batch Ryder Cup 2025, American Oak, Applewood & Sugar Maple Staves Cask, 2025, 47%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

87 / 100

The fruit character gives this bourbon a clear point of interest: baked apple on the nose carries into candy apples on the palate, with dried cherries adding a darker note. Maple sweetness, caramel and vanilla cream make the palate feel generous, while toasted oak and baking spices bring some balance. The finish keeps that contrast, pairing dried cherry and sweet caramel with cocoa, pepper and toasted wood. A rounded, fruit-forward direction, with sweetness firmly at its centre.
