Four Roses Anthology Chapter 01 Origin OBSF 21 Year Old, Cask #63-4N, 2026, 59.1%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

90 / 100

The silky palate sounds like the heart of this bourbon, with ripe cherry and dark chocolate set against honey and caramelized sugar. That sweetness has a nice counterpoint in the toasted oak and herbal spice. Fresh mint appears in the nose and returns on the long, warming finish, linking the stages without making the character feel one-note. It reads as layered and generous, with enough oak and spice to keep the sweetness in balance.
