Glan Master Finest Blended Whisky, 43%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

84 / 100

The grain note gives this blend a point of interest, while the palate sounds more oak-led, with honey and nuts alongside it. I like that the nose brings softer fruit and wine-like notes rather than simply repeating the palate. The balance seems promising, though the bold oakiness could dominate the subtler grain character. A long, sweet, warming finish rounds out a profile that sounds substantial without being especially delicate.
