Glen Garioch Hand Filled 21 Year Old, Sherry Cask, Cask #9, 2019, 57.4%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

89 / 100

The sherry-cask detail sits alongside a character led by glacé cherries and honey, then salted caramel and nuttiness. I like that shift, and the drying finish with blackcurrant cordial gives the sweetness a little balance.
